Although I had enjoyed working over the last few years, I knew that it was time to start working in a new way . I started working as a freelancer so that I could create digital content and websites in more freedom and fully in alignment with my passion.

In 2017 I came back home to the Netherlands and soon enough after that I decided to move to Amsterdam to pursue my new career there. This time truly with passion and enthusiasm, in the industry of video content creation. I worked at Talpa Network on entertaining YouTube content and then at fashion label JOSH V. But in 2022 I felt it was time for a new step.

I decided to take a more drastic route. I quit my job and apartment in order to go traveling for indefinite period, so that I could fully focus on developing filmmaking skills and to build a portfolio. I felt very strongly that this was the direction I needed to go. I traveled around Asia as a digital nomad for one year and three months, learning practically and autodidactic about filming and editing every single day. But then in the middle of the beautiful Asian nature.

agency for about two years, it started to gnaw. This wasn't it. I wanted to do something more creative. Preferably something with depth and impact. Video, I liked that. And I knew it was going to become big in the future. But I had no skills or experience in that field of work. Was I going to do another four-year eduction? Absolutely not.
