Although I had enjoyed working over the last few years, I knew that the type of content I had created was too superficial for me. In the meantime my interest in expanding consciousness was also fully ignited and I felt it was now time to start working in a new way, in alignment with my true passion. I started working as freelancer in order to focus on creating 'conscious content' that touches depth.

In 2017 I came back home to the Netherlands and soon enough after that I decided to move to Amsterdam to pursue my new career there. This time truly with passion and enthusiasm, in the industry of video content creation. I worked at Talpa Network on entertaining YouTube content and then at fashion label JOSH V. But in 2022 I felt it was time for a new step.

I decided to take a more drastic route. I quit my job and apartment in order to go traveling for indefinite period, so that I could fully focus on developing filmmaking skills and to build a portfolio. I felt very strongly that this was the direction I needed to go. I traveled around Asia as a digital nomad for one year and three months, learning practically and autodidactic about filming and editing every single day. But then in the middle of the beautiful Asian nature.

2013 I graduated with a Bachelor's degree that, through
my minor E-business, led me into the world of online
marketing. After working at a small online marketing
agency for about two years, it started to gnaw. This wasn't
it. I wanted to do something more creative. Preferably something with depth and impact. Video, I liked that. And I knew it was going to become big in the future. But I had no skills or experience in that field of work. Was I going to do another four-year eduction? Absolutely not.

From an early age I had a natural interest in philosophy and spirituality. As a child I remember reading books that I found in my mother's bookcase about the universe and other realities. I thought it was fascinating. But in my teens I got pretty focused on friends and parties, so my interest in expanding consciousness moved far into the background.

My name is Joey Baeten. Born and raised in the south of the Netherlands, where I was born 33 years ago as the first one of a triplet.
